Teresa Thibault created Heart Gifts in her Concord, North Carolina home in 1992. That Christmas, she wanted to have a Christmas Tree with ornaments that would explain to her children that Jesus is the heart of Christmas. After she could not find any ornaments in the stores in her area, her husband suggested that she make them herself. Her ornaments are now unique collectibles that are sold worldwide.
